CANADA EXPERIENCE CLASS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is an immigration program that allows individuals who have worked in Canada for at least one year to immigrate permanently.

Minimum requirements:

  • the applicant should submit their expression of interest
  • No age limit, but get no points if you are 47 or older in age
  • Have at least 12 months of full-time (or an equivalent in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada within the last three years.
  • Have at least a score of 6 for all the modules in the IELTS General test if you have management/ professional job background
  • Overseas education must be assessed by the relevant assessing authority
  • pass health and character test.
  • be invited by IRCC to apply for the visa.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Canada advantages

  • Canadian Experience Class candidates can earn more points for their Canadian education and work experience
  • Since the required documentation is minimal, Canadian Experience Class applications are processed quickly, often within three to four months.
  • Applicants under the Canadian Experience Class are not required to show proof of settlement funds like Federal Skilled Worker Class

How overseas candidates will be eligible for CEC?

    There are several possible options for overseas candidates to be eligible for CEC.

  • You can come to Canada through SPONSERED work permit program and earn Candian work experience
  • You can come to Canada as a student. If you study in Canada for a one year program you will be qualified for a one-year work permit. If it is a two-year program, you will be qualified for a three-year work permit. Therefore, you will be able to earn Canadian experience and get additional points in the Express Entry system for your Canadian education and work experience.
  • You can come here through the intra-company transfer program and earn Candian work experience
  • You or your spouse can come here as a student and the partner of the student can get open work permit. Through this you can earn Canadian experience during the study period of your spouse.
