HOW TO IMMIGRATE TO CANADA / GUIDE TO CANADIAN IMMIGRATION

In order to apply for Canadian immigration, Skilled Workers and Professionals must have at least one year of continuous work experience in any of the occupations in the eligible Canadian immigration occupation list in the last 10 years and should have IELTS General 6.0 in each band. If you are a trade person, the minimum required IELTS is only Listening & Speaking-5.0, Writing-4.0 and Reading-3.5. Besides you need to obtain a minimum 67 points from the eligibility criteria of total 100 points. Those who meet minimum 67 points can submit EOI to express entry application pool system of immigration Canada. All the applicants in the pool will be awarded Score based on the comprehensive ranking system of immigration Canada. Based on Canadian job market requirement, each month, immigration Canada will decide selection score and those who meet this threshold ranking score will be invited to apply for Canadian PR. A minimum eligibility to apply for PR does not guarantee an invitation for Permanent Residency (PR). For this, you must obtain Higher Rank in a comprehensive ranking system.

Before starting the Canada Permanent Residency application, Skilled Workers and Professionals need to obtain Qualification Assessment from relevant assessment authority related to your profession or trade. With the Assessment Report, required IELTS and other supporting documents, we can submit an online Expression of Interest (EOI) on behalf of you which will be placed in the Express Entry Pool of Immigration Canada. An EOI has one-year validity and when you meet the ranking threshold set by Canadian immigration you will be invited for Canadian PR application. The ranking threshold is determined by immigration Canada each month based on the Canadian job market requirement. Submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee an invitation. So applicants are encouraged to obtain a higher rank. By obtaining an approved job offer after Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) from Canadian Employer or by obtaining Canadian State or Territory nomination, maximum points can be achieved and thereby higher rank. Besides you can improve your ranking by obtaining higher IELTS and also by providing maximum work reference letters for the last 10 years. If your spouse can obtain minimum IELTS, additional points will be added which will also improve your Rank. This can be further increased by obtaining higher IELTS and Qualification assessment from relevant authority or employment skill assessment of Trade of your spouse.
