All the Nursing professionals who like to work in Oman must appear for Oman Ministry of Health (PROMETRIC- RN) examination and should pass this test. B.sc Nurses with 2 year work experience can work as registered Nurses and Diploma Nurses with 2 year experience can work as a nurse technician after this test. To work in Oman, Diploma and Bsc. Nurses should pass Oman Ministry of Health PROMETRIC –RN examination. For PROMETRIC examination there is no particular syllabus advised, but International Academy have wide range of study materials to support nurses for passing exam with high score. This is an online exam consist multiple choice of questions. If a candidate does not pass the exam candidate can sit the exam multiple times. The current exam fees is USD: 90 (Rs: 4500) and the exam is scheduled in Trivandrum, Kerala every week Monday to Friday. Students need to register exam one week prior to their intended date. The time, venue and exact date will be notified by exam committee one day prior the exam.

Nurses Licensing Examination Oman (PROMETRIC) is a test based on nursing theory which assesse skills in nursing on professional contest. Our training comprises Preparation level Class and Intensive level Class (Crash Batch).

• Preparation Level

New students are provided preparation class for familiarizing them to Oman ministry of health Registered Nurse Examination. During this period students will get detailed training in the entire nursing subject focused on examination.

• Intensive Level

After preparation stage, the students will start Intensive training according to Oman –Registered Nurse Exam system. We use computerized online training and in this class students are given training used on numerous questions prepared from nursing books and journals. Students have to answer these questions themselves and get improved in exam contest. But Students unable to give answer or find answers will get additional training and advise and thus they become qualified for exam. Candidates will have model tests every Saturday similar to the Oman –Registered Nurse Exam. The results are given according to the Oman –Registered Nurse Exam system. Students are given correction and assessment after their test and provided care and attention on modules they find difficult. Once the candidates obtain a required stable score during all the tests, the trainer will advise him to apply for the exam. Others will be retained till they improve their performance.
