FRANCE STUDENT VISA PROCESS & REQUIREMENTS

To study in France, you need a Student Visa. To obtain this, proof of having tuition fees and living expense as liquid fund through sponsorship or bank loan is required for a minimum duration. Candidate also has to appear in person for an interview at the Campus France Office:

  • STEP 1 – Register online
  • Register online on www.inde.campusfrance.org . After filling the “Campus France form” and uploading the documents, email the file number (Example: IN123456) to the nearest Campus France office to verify entries and to confirm.

  • STEP 2 – Appointment with a Campus France Education Advisor
  • Ask for an appointment through email from the Campus France office for an academic interview with the Education Advisor to furnish all mandatory documents (originals + one set of photocopies). This should be attended in person at Campus France wherein copies of academic documents are attested against the original. After successful completion, an NOC will be issued to the student.

  • STEP 3 – Appointment at VFS France
  • Soon after interview at the Campus France office, the student can make an online/telephonic appointment at the VFS France to submit visa application. (Choose a time 24 hours after the interview). For details, please visit www.vfs‐ france.co.in

    Documents & Fee Required for France Student Visa

    • Relevant Campus France Interview and Verification fees paid receipt
    • Pay relevant French Embassy VISA fees
    • VFS Visa application handling charges including courier charges
    • Acceptance/Admission letter from a French Academic Institution
    • Fee Payment Receipt from a French Academic Institution ( If applicable)
    • Academic records – Mark Sheets + Passing Certificates/Degree or Diploma Certificates (“10+2” onwards till last degree obtained)
    • Language Test Certifications (IELTS / TOEFL) if required by institution in France
    • Experience Letter (If applicable)
    • Any other documents that may have been uploaded on the Campus France online form
    • Visa application form duly filled and signed
    • Two passport size photographs with specific standard set by French Visa office.
    • Valid Original Passport and Copy with all previous passports
    • Campus France Verification and Interview report
    • Cover letter explaining the study project and motivation, including short curriculum vitae.
    • Proof of Funds.
    • Proof of medical insurance.
    • A copy of blocked Air ticket.
    • At least 3 months Accommodation arrangement letter from the institution.
    • Past three years IT Returns of Self/Blood Relative (Sponsor) and past three months Bank statement of Self/Blood Relative (Sponsor)

    Fund Requirement for France Student Visa

    • Proof of full year Tuition fees ( Any Prepaid Tuition amount can be reduced from total project Cost )
    • Proof of living expense for all course duration

    Evidence of Funds acceptable for France Student Visa

    • Balance in Savings Account (Which ideally should be 3 months old).
    • Fixed Deposit
    • Education Loan.
