NEW ZEALAND IMMIGRATION VISA PROCESS

The New Zealand Migration Processing includes 7 selection factors:

  8. Even if the applicant meets the minimum point’s criteria without IELTS, he/she should obtain a minimum cut of IELTS score of 6.5 overall in IELTS General/Academic or otherwise he needs to submit any other document showing his proficiency in English such as medium of instruction letters. If the applicant is married, his spouse should have a minimum IELTS score of 5 overall or evidence of 3 years post-secondary study in English medium or provide specific period of English study enrolment details from NZ education provider.

    In New Zealand migration process, every applicant’s qualification has to be assessed by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and obtain an eligible Assessment result. The assessment can be completed in 2 part. In the first part, applicant can obtain online assessment of their qualification by paying NZD: 138 and if the Online Assessment is successful, NZQA will issue an eligibility letter. Further the applicant and spouse (If claiming point) should obtain ‘Document Based Assessment’ report from NZQA by paying additional fee of NZD: 746 to be eligible for proceeding to immigration application. With the Assessment result from the NZQA, the applicant should submit an EOI to the New Zealand Immigration along with IELTS and other supporting documents. Those who meet point criteria of Immigration New Zealand will be invited to apply for PR in New Zealand. If invited to apply, the applicant should obtain a full assessment report from NZQA to apply for Immigration visa to New Zealand. You can submit your visa application to the Immigration New Zealand, Beijing, China with the required fee. The concerned Visa Officer will verify all the supporting information and if satisfied, you will be issued with a New Zealand PR.

    N.B: All the health professionals and some other professionals require New Zealand Professional Board full registration and licensure to apply for New Zealand PR. So these types of professionals are advised to enrol in study programs leading to skilled job or professional registration in New Zealand in order to be eligible for New Zealand PR.
